Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Kill Your CRM ("we," "us") collects when you visit KillYourCRM.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@killyourcrm.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request an audit, we collect what you type into the form: your name, work email, which CRM you use, and anything you tell us about the task you want to automate. If you email us or book a call, we keep that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, how you arrived here, and rough location derived from your IP. This is collected through cookies and similar tools described below.
We do not collect payment information on this site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How we use it
- To respond to your audit request and follow up about it.
- To understand which pages and advertisements bring people to the site, so we can improve both.
- To show you our advertisements on other platforms after you've visited (see "Advertising" below).
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don't sell your information. We don't add you to a newsletter or automated email sequence because you filled out the audit form. If we ever start a newsletter, joining it will be a separate, explicit choice.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: measuring how the site is used, and advertising. This may include tools such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and a web analytics service. These tools set cookies in your browser and send us aggregated reports; they also send data back to the provider under that provider's own privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though we won't be able to tell that you visited.
Advertising
We run advertisements on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and may run them elsewhere. If you visit this site, you may later see our ads on those platforms, because the platform's pixel recorded your visit. We may also share hashed versions of email addresses with advertising platforms to measure whether our ads led to audit requests, or to avoid showing ads to people who have already contacted us.
You can control ad personalization directly in your Meta settings under "Ad preferences," and through your browser's tracking controls.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the services that run this site and our business, and only as needed for them to do their job:
- Hosting — the site is served by Vercel, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages.
- Forms and scheduling — audit requests may be handled by a form or calendar service (for example Formspree or Calendly) that stores your submission and passes it to us.
- Email — we use standard email providers to correspond with you.
- Analytics and advertising — as described above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If the business is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.
How long we keep it
We keep audit requests and correspondence for as long as we're in contact with you about a potential or active project, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each provider's default settings. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@killyourcrm.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We'll need to verify it's you before acting on a request.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We don't sell personal information. If our advertising use counts as "sharing" under California law, you can opt out by emailing us or by using the Meta ad controls described above.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Client data is different
This policy covers this website only. When we do consulting work on a client's CRM, we handle that client's data under the written agreement for that project, not under this policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so plainly on this page.
